Annual plans & annual reports

Maasheggen UNESCO is more than just nature and agriculture.
It was one of the main conclusions of the ambition document, adopted by the council of the municipality Land van Cuijk at the end of 2023. The multi-year vision includes concrete proposals to increase residents' involvement in their "green backyard" and to more actively seek opportunities to develop nature, agriculture, villages and recreation in De Maasheggen more in conjunction with each other.

The vision document serves as the basis for all annual plans drawn up after 2024. This also applies to the
2026 annual plan
The Maasheggen UNESCO Steering Committee adopted the 2026 annual plan during its meeting on December 10, 2025. This annual plan lists the projects that will continue or begin in 2026. It is possible that other initiatives, not yet known, may be undertaken in the coming year.
