The ancient Maasheggen landscape is unique in Western Europe. Nowhere else does such an extensive contiguous hedge area occur as in the Land van Cuijk.
The Maasheggenlandschap breathes the atmosphere of history. Every tree, every shrub, every meadow tells its ancient history. It seems as if time stood still here for a hundred years.

However, this does not mean that there is nothing to experience now; in fact, there is a great diversity of special attractions to discover. Moreover, the Maasheggen Landscape provides the backdrop for special events and wonderful days out.
