Area Atlas

The best way to experience the Maasheggen area is to go there yourself. That said, you can learn a lot about the area from maps. There is more to discover in the Maasheggengebied than you can see with the naked eye.

Numerous organizations collect data about the area. For example, Water Board Aa and Maas monitors the water system, municipalities work together on recreational infrastructure, and the province of North Brabant keeps track of how nature management is going. They use all this data for analyses, in order to gain a better understanding of the area.

To make this information more accessible, the area atlas Maasheggen was developed. Using interactive maps, the area atlas brings together information on subjects such as recreation, cultural history, nature, water and climate adaptation.
Discover, for example, what the landscape looked like a hundred years ago, view predictions about the future effects of climate change and experience the area in a new way.
