The fox and the stork
No. 8 on the route
The stork from the Beugen nest
is giant in his delight.
Eating out he goes to the fox
at its den on the Felt Lake.
But fun the evening does not go
the plate of soup is flat.
The beak is ticking - what sadness! -
in the soil than a hole.
The little fox giggles at his region,
What did he bite the bird!
The stork stands hungrily pale
While the little fox eats everything on its own.
Back on the nest with an empty stomach
the stork invents a ruse.
Also the fox with his eternal bullying
is invited to the dis.
The fox drools from the fine scents
Of well roasted pork tenderloin.
He wants to start judging the meat by then
But 'tis served up in a deep vase!
'Bon appetit,' says the stork
And sticks its beak deep inside.
With empty stomach, then, the fox leaves,
From such a bird he cannot win anyway.
