Book a walk, bicycle tour or guided tours by local guides along special attractions in the Maasheggengebied!
On the website rondleidingen.landvancuijk.nl you will find an overview of all groomer activities, including the dates on which they take place and how they can be easily booked.
It involves
- A greeter's walk through downtown Boxmeer,
- bike rides through the Forbidden Area (Vierlingsbeek and environs),
- A walk through Vierlingsbeek,
- a tour of the weir and lock complex in Sambeek,
- A walk through Overloon and
- A bicycle tour of the Overloon area.
All activities are accompanied by local guides, also known as "greeters. The guides are volunteers who know the area like the back of their hand and can take participants to places they might not otherwise visit. With great pleasure and passion they tell the often unique stories along the way that are connected to the locations and buildings visited. Most greeter activities are free of charge. Sometimes a small financial contribution is requested.
