Round Heg and Meuse

This hiking trail has a short (2.7 km) and a longer (4.3 km) variant.
Start on the paved road and make an unexpected foray between hedges on land owned by Stichting Landschapsbeheer Boxmeer. Walk along the Meuse River as the weir and lock complex looms.
At node 5 are rolling meadows due to clay excavation. This was made into bricks with a brick kiln in the field.

Directions
Walk down the hill to node 1 and turn right. Follow Maas Street through node 22 to 21.
Turn right onto the dirt path and walk through the field via node 4 to node 5. Turn right and walk with the Meuse on your left back to the starting point.
Possibility to extend from node 4.
