Workshops on hedge braiding, also for children with (grand)parents

Camping (and Maasheggenambassadeur) De Brembroeken and the foundation Landschapsbeheer Boxmeer are organizing a number of Maasheggenvlechten workshops again this winter.
The workshops will take place on December 21, 2024 and January 18, 2025. Participation costs 25 euros per person. If there is sufficient interest, an additional workshop will be organized. For example for friends, family and staff outings different dates can be determined in consultation.

Four parent-child workshops are also scheduled in the coming months. The workshops are organized in cooperation with Maasheggenkids. On 7 December 2024 and 4 January, 1 February and 1 March 2025, children from 9 to 16 years old can discover with their (grand)parents what makes Maasheggen weaving fun and special. Participation costs € 37.50 per parent-child duo. Weaving takes place on the area between the locks of Sambeek and the ferry to Afferden, near hiking junction 32 in Vortum-Mullem.
