Information meeting on tackling 'bottle neck' near Oeffelt
Province of North Brabant and the cooperation partners are moving ahead with addressing the "bottle neck problem" near Oeffelt. A condition for the implementation of the plans is that they are carefully fitted into the landscape of the UNESCO area De Maasheggen so that everyone can continue to live, work and recreate safely and pleasantly along the Meuse.
On Monday, September 23, an information meeting will be held at De Kleppenburg in Oeffelt. During this meeting more will be told about how the 'bottle neck problem' will be tackled and which preferred design has been chosen. The follow-up process of the project will also be explained. The next six months will be devoted to completing the planning study. After that, the necessary legal procedures will be initiated. The project must be completed in 2028.
