Peters Farm at The Maasheggen in RTL4 series

The Derks family's Peters Farm calf farm was one of the farms portrayed in the recently aired RTL4 series Wie de boer niet kent. Presenter Jamie Trenité visited farms all over the Netherlands in 4 weeks. He did not do this alone, but together with other Dutch celebrities. In Sambeek, presenter Evelien de Bruijn came to help.

Peter's Farm veal farm of the Derks family is located in the Maasheggengebied, on the outskirts of the village of Sambeek. Besides a calf farm, the Derks family also has a farm store and -during the summer season- a terrace where coffee, tea, ice cream and local products, such as delicious sausage rolls made from their own veal, are served. The terrace is open every day and a nice resting place for cyclists and hikers visiting De Maasheggen.
