Hawthorn Blossom Walk on May 12

On Sunday, May 12, the Hawthorn Blossom Walk will take place. The walk, which goes through De Maasheggen, starts at café Die 2 on the Dorpsstraat in Oeffelt.

Participants on the 5 and 10-kilometer tours will start between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.; walkers who wish to walk 15, 20, 25 or 30 kilometers will start between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The walk through De Maasheggen offers not only a unique nature experience, but also the opportunity to learn more about the region's rich history and traditions. For example, you will pass by the imposing castle of Boxmeer, which has a rich history. For those who choose the long distances, the route takes you past the weir in Sambeek.
