Special label regional products Maasheggen

Regional products from the Maasheggen can now be recognized by the ice blue label "Taste of the Maasheggen".The Maasheggen beer from the Cuijkse Brouwbrigade, the Maasheggen tea from the Meerstoel, the Maasheggen juice from Streekplattelandgoed, the Maasheggen syrup from the Veerhuis, the Maasheggen gin from liquor store Sander Graat and the Gouden Hiep - tripel beer from Gradoen are the first regional products to be allowed to use the label.

The producers and the area program Maasheggen UNESCO are working together to put the Maasheggengebied on the map. Making and selling regional products contributes to the sustainable development of the area while also providing economic added value for the producer. That regional products can help put a biosphere area on the map was proven earlier by Bionade, the German success formula associated with the Rhön biosphere area.

Among other things, Maasheggen packages will be put together in the coming period. The packages will be available to local enthusiasts, visitors and businesses.
