Butterfly Route Vortum-Mullem

The butterfly route runs across the farmyard and pastures of farmer Eric Lamers. Daycare center De Schutkooi constructed the route and uses it to count butterflies. The results of those counts are used for further research. The butterfly trail was made possible by Nederland Zoemt and Staatsbosbeheer.

The trail starts to the left of haystack barn the Meles (with the thatched roof) in the yard. Follow the green arrow, in the direction of the barn. The rest of the route is also marked with the green arrows. Along the way you will encounter information signs with all kinds of facts about butterflies.
